Global Ship Management

Overview

Atlas Shipping's global ship operations and management team brings a wealth of experience to all aspects of the technical, crew, and project management of a truly diverse and specialized fleet of managed vessels.
Our experience spans conventional vessel types such as tankers, container and general cargo, and Roll-on/Roll-off (Ro/Ro) vessels, to specialized vessels such as deepwater pipe-layers, geotechnical and seismic research vessels and offshore construction support vessels.
From salvage and anchor handling tugs (AHTs), jack-up and accommodation barges, to livestock carriers, Ro-Pax, trans-shippers and dredgers, our vast experience allows Atlas Shipping to provide management solutions to a wide variety of ship owners.

What sets Atlas Shipping apart is the company's ability to create custom commercial ship management programs for customers. As examples, we are capable of providing U.S. crew for international flag vessels, and similarly we can provide international superintendent coverage to U.S.- flag vessels. This flexibility allows us to be the "right fit" for virtually any vessel fleet or company while providing maximum benefits to all involved parties.

Atlas Shipping's international ship management services have been strengthened through the recent acquisition of the Accord Group, now Atlas Shipping Accord. This has re-launched a skilled and accomplished staff with worldwide coverage that includes established offices in the U.S, Hong Kong, India and the Netherlands.

With more than 60 vessels managed in the U.S. domestic and international markets, Atlas Shipping has developed longstanding working relationships with vendors, suppliers and major foreign and domestic labor organizations, allowing us to provide professional management services, always with an emphasis on Atlas Shipping's No. 1 core value, safety. The policies and procedures reflected in every aspect of our management system are based on recognized ISO and ISM standards to ensure regulatory compliance.
